Under the expert guidance of Judging Chairperson Helen Burgess, these judges, all of whom are experts in their respective fields, will have the difficult task of evaluating hundreds of web sites to find the very best of the best. We wish them luck for the long hours and late nights ahead!

To ensure fairness, judges do not judge entries from their own state. Those judges associated with companies who may enter the awards may not judge the categories that their company enters sites in. All judges are under strict instructions to report any contact from entrants with regards to the awards and judging.

More judges will be announced as they are confirmed.

This competition, which follows the highly successful WA Web Awards staged annually by the Australian Web Industry Association since 2005, is open to any web site primarily developed in Australia.

Entries from New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capitol Territory will be judged together in one group, while entries from Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania will be grouped in another. Western Australian entries will be judged separately, and National winners - the very best of the best from all three groups of the competition - will be honoured at the Edge of the Web conference in Perth in November 2009.

Applicants have until July 7 2009, to get their entries in. Submit your sites now!

The Australian Web Awards committee would like to wish all entrants the best of luck!
