Our heart and overall objective was to create a visually stunning and engaging website to showcase our digital projects and also inform new clients of our service offerings with clarity.
Whilst structuring the sitemap and the UX journey of the website, we wanted to ensure our B2B target audience could find what they were looking for quickly. We prioritised our work folio and our key service pages as this is what we found in our site analytics and feedback.
Our primary challenge (turned highlight) was to create an artistic website that fulfilled our high design standards whilst also balancing ALL areas of strong development, marketing effectiveness, usability, high security, load efficiency, search engine friendliness & analytics. Not only did our conversion rate for the website go up 3x, we also improved on our 1st page Google ranking positions on various keywords. This project was a true team effort and required extensive collaborations and constant revisions to ensure each pillar was well-considered.
Our secondary challenge lay in presenting the various kinds of content in a way that worked in harmony. These included portfolio case studies, services, testimonials, awards, blogs and written content. Although we envisaged a visually stimulating experience for the user, we needed to ensure the balance and visual layout of content was correct to not overwhelm users. Balancing creativity with user practicality was a real juggling act.
And let’s be honest, a self-driven project can sometimes be the most difficult. We are always our own worst client.
